Great to meet you!

Within the art of therapy, there exists multiple modalities. I believe in utilizing an eclectic range of tools that are tailored to your needs. I specialize in working with individuals (14 and up)who suffer from depression, anxiety, substance misuse, PTSD, and complex trauma. In my youth I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University to earn a bachelor's degree, when I discovered my love for mental health. This passion drove me to complete a master's degree at Florida International University.

A bit about my approach to therapy

The approach I take to therapy is centered around supporting the needs of clients and guiding them towards self-actualization. By creating a safe space, an individual can explore their deepest and most authentic self. This personalized environment brings together multiculturalism, inclusivity, and perspectives that embrace diversity with open arms. If nothing else, I guarantee honesty; I stand true to the roots of therapy with a focus on authenticity.

What you can expect from our first session

I have extensive experience in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and EMDR. Yoga, meditation, and movement therapy will also be incorporated for those clientele that seek to embody the mind and body connection.
