“Structural racism is a public health crisis.” Have you noticed this headline popping up more and more in the recent weeks? Let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about Racism. Structural Racism. Oppression. Microaggressions. Privilege. Surely one or all of these words are on your mind. For some of us, more than usual.
I work with BIPOC clients to unpack the impacts of racism, oppression and marginality. I work with white professionals to learn about becoming culturally sensitive and how to be engage in allyship. This is a new and evolving practice.
