Living in the fast-paced environment that is today, anxiety and depression are a part of everyday life, and they can build up. I can help you with that discomfort. I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist with years of experience working with people of all ages. Throughout my time as a psychotherapist, I have discovered that our lives can be seen as cars on highways, with us being the drivers. At times, we can be faced with roadblocks, such as difficult relationships, depression, anxiety, stressful jobs or low self-esteem.
Relationship issues can include not feeling understood by your family or partner, miscommunication, and constant arguments. Low self-esteem can feel like not having confidence in yourself, feeling unworthy of good things, and at times, feeling unlovable. A stressful job may leave someone feeling underappreciated, overworked and hopeless.
My aim is to help you navigate these roadblocks, by utilizing different therapeutic approaches, such as CBT and the psychoanalysis, which uses our understanding of ourselves and of others within different contexts. With this understanding, we can undo the roadblocks in our lives, moving us forward into a better direction. **I also offer video/skype sessions.
