Micheal Franklin is the type of therapist that when you start to talk to him you feel as if you've known him or someone like him all of your life. Micheal is a direct type of person however he is also empathetic to each of his client's individual needs, goals, and aspirations, and he is one that will celebrate with you when you accomplish a goal as well as be there to walk with you during your darkest moments of your life. Micheal grew up in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina.

Micheal wants his clients to feel like they have been heard, seen for who they are as a person, and understood. Micheal will challenge his clients to promote change and a desire to want to do better for themselves and to be a better human being for those whom the client may be in contact with on a regular basis. Micheal wants to help each of his client to become everything that they are capable of becoming.

Micheal gives his clients tools they learn during a session, he will teach them coping skills to help them overcome a fear, or to help cope with life in a different manner rather than drinking, and he will always provide his clients with food for thought so one can come to their own decision as to how they plan on using the therapy sessions to grow individually for the betterment of themselves. Micheal will also assign homework or things that he wants the client to practice in between sessions.
