Great to meet you!

As licensed mental health therapist I feel honored to listen to your story and work together toward change and healing. Seeking help is a sign of strength and health, not weakness or shame. You have a story and it matters. I have been practicing for 15 years, and I do my best work with individual adult clients who are struggling with emotion dysregulation, trauma, and attachment. I also run a DBT Skills Training Group.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is very warm, supportive, emotions-focused and collaborative. I place the utmost importance on developing a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. As a family systems trained therapist, I view all of my clients through the lens of Systems Theory and their Family of Origin. In addition, I utilize and draw from other therapeutic modalities in my work including: Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, & Narrative Techniques.

What you can expect from our first session

In the first few sessions, we'll focus on building trust and learning about your treatment needs and goals, as well as your personal history. I prioritize bringing warmth, non-judgment, respect, humor and collaboration to our work.
