Melissa

Hi, my name is Melissa and I'm a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in private practice. Prior to nursing, I was a combat medic in the US Army and also served in the Air Force National Guard. I connect very quickly with clients who have served in the armed forces and have extensive experience working with trauma and gender expression issues.

I earned my Masters degree in nursing from SUNY Buffalo in 2010 and have devoted 15 years to the profession of nursing.

Whats unique about receiving care from a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is that I offer both medication management and therapy services combined in one session, so you only need to see one provider. Pairing therapy and medication to treat depression and anxiety can also help you feel better faster with a 60% improved chance of recovery.

Working with me means working with our amazing practice - Lavender - which is an online psychiatry and therapy office providing a range of modern mental health services from the comfort of home. At Lavender we believe that psychiatric care shouldn't be expensive, intimidating or impossible to access. We are committed to providing care that is backed by science with a team of friendly providers that go the extra mile for you.

Your time is extremely valuable, we pride ourselves on being super transparent & responsive. For my most accurate and up to date availability, please check and book through our office website directly at www.joinlavender.com

You may also connect with us by phone, text, or email if you have any questions either through Headway or by contacting hello@joinlavender.com / 855.444.7258
