Great to meet you!

Hello there, I'm Melissa and I'm a wife, cat mom, and burnout survivor turned thriver. I'm here to take my life experiences (the good, the bad, the funny, the traumatic) and years of schooling and clinical and therapeutic background to help women in their 20s and 30 balance their needs, self-care, and relationships/marriages.

My areas of focus are relationship stress/concerns, stress management, self-care improvement/consistency, communication, and self-esteem and self-image work.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use mindset therapies, solution-focused therapies, and trauma-focused therapies to find and explore your strengths and self-perceptions and guide you in problem-solving and healing. I use expressive therapies like narrative writing, journaling, and roleplaying as ways to express all your concerns and bottled-up emotions you've been trying to 'manage' on your own.

What you can expect from our first session

I work damn hard to give my clients completely individualized treatment in terms of goals and approach. Humility and authenticity are two values I identify heavily with, so here's what that looks like in my sessions: a professional relationship filled with laughter, smiles, tears, challenging questions and curious inquiries, and unconditional support. My goal is to have you leaving each session with a warm heart, increased confidence, and motivation to consistency works towards your goals.
