I am Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Trauma Treatment Specialist and EMDR Certified. I have completed internships abroad and in private practice setting. My cross cultural experiences and training developed my interest in trauma and have since become the focus in my practice. As a result, I see individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or Complex PTSD. I use a trauma based approach and implement EMDR, DNMS or other modalities such as EFT.

I focus on listening to your story and identifying what your needs are. I strive to empower and equip you with tools necessary so there will be homework assignments occasionally. I use a trauma based lense to help guide you through past or present traumas.

After listening to your story and gathering your goal for therapy I share my perspective on a specific treatment plan and things to work so that with each session you are working towards accomplishing your goal. Examples are improving sleep hygiene, establishing healthy boundaries, reprocessing past traumas, developing more coping tools, or increasing your knowledge on how certain disorders work.
