I am a therapist with over 25 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I am an adjunct professor at New York University Silver School of Social Work. I have advanced training in several evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Over the years, I have developed an expertise in working with people dealing with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, eating disorders, and relationship problems.
I have particular expertise in working with people with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Utilizing exposure & response prevention and mindfulness-based skills training, I work collaboratively with clients to develop the tools to more effectively respond to difficult thoughts and feelings.
My office is located in Union Square, convenient to many subway lines and commuter trains. I accept many insurance plans. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to schedule an appointment.
