Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of experience working with adolescents and adults from multicultural backgrounds. I am passionate about working with young adults and adults struggling with depression, anxiety and with the most challenging parts of life, work, and relationships.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is very collaborative; my goal is meet you where you are, nurture your strengths, and together, develop a plan to reach your goals. I help clients work through emotion dysregulation that occurs from mood, anxiety and other disorders, as well as the demands of our face-paced, sometimes stressful, world. I primarily use frameworks from CBT and DBT to target emotional distress and intrusive negative thinking.

What you can expect from our first session

Together we'll create a comfortable, culturally sensitive environment where you can work on increasing self-compassion through understanding your thoughts and behaviors. Using validation and change strategies, I hope to guide you to achieve your goals and build meaning in your life. Taking steps to enter therapy can be difficult - I'm glad you made it here!
