Thank you for your interest in finding out more about me.

I think the self-knowledge gained from therapy is a true gift. It's an opportunity and investment that will never lose its' value. I say that from personal experience.

I am "for real," a warm, caring, compassionate, advanced practice nurse. I have worked in the mental health field for 40 years, and still love what I do. I don't prescribe medication. I do "talk therapy" only, using a variety of evidence based techniques.

On a personal level, maybe you’d like to know that I have life experience as a daughter, mother, aunt, colleague, wife, life partner, ex, friend, and sister – and not necessarily all at the same time or with the same person. 😉 I've had an interesting life, have traveled alot, and lived in 4 countries.

Although I enjoy working with people, ALL people and ages, period, I have expertise in women’s mental health issues. Especially those related to prenatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, relationships, narcissistic personalities, highly sensitive people, perfectionism, disordered eating/body image, stress, coping, and life transitions. I also love working with fellow nurses, college students, digital nomads, and travelers with all of their unique concerns.

"Every journey begins with the first step." I look forward to speaking with you soon.
