Great to meet you!

I have life experience as a daughter, mother, aunt, colleague, wife, life partner, ex, friend, and sister – and not necessarily all at the same time. I've had an interesting life, have traveled & still plan to travel a lot. No worries. We’ll be able to connect, no matter where I am. I always make sure I am able to work online wherever I go. I’ve lived in 4 countries. If you're looking for a therapist who has an all-encompassing inclusive world view and "thinks out of the box," that would be me.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am "for real," a warm, caring, compassionate, advanced practice nurse. I have worked in many areas and roles in the mental health field for 40 years. Online telehealth psychotherapy is my favorite and I still love what I do. I don't prescribe medication. I do "talk therapy" only, using a variety of evidence based techniques. Treatment is collaborative and individualized to you and what you want and need.

What you can expect from our first session

You have a story to tell. I’d like to listen. What has happened to you, that you’re seeking my help now?

I think the self-knowledge gained from therapy is a true gift. It's an opportunity and investment that can never be taken from you. It will never lose its' value. If you have the time and resources to engage in this "journey," go for it! You'll only move forward. I say that from personal experience.

Thank you for your interest in finding out more about my practice. I hope you will choose me.
