Great to meet you!

I haven't always been a psychotherapist, but after over 20 years as a change management consultant and Patient Experience expert, I've found the deep work of helping one person at a time to be the most fulfilling. I've gathered and developed a broad range of tools and techniques that help me meet my clients wherever they're at and see them for who they really are. Learn more about me at my website https://aspen-cc.com

A bit about my approach to therapy

I try to flex my approach based on what my clients are looking for, but I draw mainly from a narrative (what stories are we telling ourselves?), psychodynamic (what early experiences shaped us?), strengths-based (what has worked in the past?), and cognitive (are there patterns of thought influencing our perceptions?) approaches. I also frequently draw from solutions-focused, behavioral and Gestalt frameworks.

What you can expect from our first session

Feelings of support without judgement, useful tools that I'll help you adapt so they actually work for you, and hopefully a sense of being a little lighter thanks to sharing a laugh or two as we do the hard work of growth as a team.
