I use an "eclectic approach," which means that I draw from several treatment modalities based on the unique needs of each client. I use a Person Centered approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing techniques. I value humor, authenticity, and empathy as key components of the therapeutic process. I believe the therapeutic relationship plays a crucial role in fostering change and serves as a corrective experience from previous negative interactive patterns.
