Great to meet you!

Hello & thanks for viewing my profile! I treat teens and adults with issues of anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, stress-management, identity, relationship/family, ADHD, grief, life transitions, school, or career. I am strongly LGBTQIA+ allied, easy to talk to & non-judgmental. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at: loritalktherapy@yahoo.com.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I love helping people uncover their untapped strengths and resources and to assist in guiding them through life's many difficulties. I value my clients and aim to get to know each of them weIl. I consider my practice style Eclectic, meaning that I draw from several theoretical orientations and utilize what best fits the patient's particular needs. Some of these approaches are CBT, Family Systems, Mindfulness-Based, Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Strength-Based approaches.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first session, I will learn all about you. I will ask you to share pertinent details of your life, starting from your childhood. By the end of the first session, we will decide together what your biggest concerns are, what your therapy goals should be & how we will address them. I hope that through therapy, you will be able to gain more insight into yourself & what steps you can take to be the best version of you. We will work together on improving your coping skills & feeling happier.
