Great to meet you!

When you have experienced race-based trauma, it's hard to get help from someone who understand and who has the necessary skills to help you heal.

As a minoritized person who specializes in social justice and liberation psychology, I am the person to help you. You don't have to code switch, mask, or hide. You get to bring your whole self into therapy with me and not have to worry about being stereotyped or misunderstood.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from a justice and liberation stance. This means that I don't automatically think you're the problem pr that you need to learn to cope better. I look at the ways that systems have worked upon and against you. My role is not to help you cope with oppression but to find ways to empowerment.

What you can expect from our first session

We will find the critical issues and then craft a plan to overcome them. You will be greeted with warmth, compassion + humor as well as a fierce dedication to your favorite self.
