Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Letitia a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counselor and additional certifications as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II), Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). The populations I focus on are neurodivergent, LGBTQ+, TGNC, BIPOC, suffers of chronic illness, and survivors of trauma.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Largely using trauma informed psychodynamic theory, clients will gain insights into how past experiences might still be affecting them currently. Next we begin integrating interventions that resonate with the clients. Clients soon will begin to feel empowered toward making the changes they desire to see in their life.

What you can expect from our first session

I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space for clients to explore life experiences so that they can gain a deeper understanding of themselves and how past experiences have affected them. Clients can expect tangible new skills as we unlearn unhelpful skills they have picked up along the way and introduce new helpful tools and coping skills. While it is never forced or demanded, homework is a large aspect of my work as I believe the biggest change happens outside of the therapy room.
