Great to meet you!

If you are looking for a therapist who will spend time figuring out your personal needs- whether that is how we work together or what specific mode of treatment works best for you- I believe that I may be a good fit for you. I have spent my years as a therapist keeping abreast of the most up-to-date approaches to care, but more importantly, I continue to challenge myself as an individual to consider the needs of the people and world around me so that I may offer the best treatment possible.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I excel at and prioritize building a warm and accepting rapport with my clients. I also strongly believe in psychoeducation so that my clients can also be well-informed and empowered in their own treatment both in session and the outside world. I am able to work with a very diverse clientele- including both ethnic a racial minorities or religious groups, as well as gender and sexual minorities due to my willingness to be open to individual lifestyle differences and multiple treatment modalities.

What you can expect from our first session

In your first session, you can expect to be put at ease. Trust me- I understand how hard this first step can be! I love to use a bit of humor to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible. I will use this time to get to know as much as I can about you and what brings you to therapy, and possibly let you know a bit about me, too. My goal is to make your experience as easy as possible while building towards establishing your goals for treatment.
