My name is Latasha Strawder, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I attended California State University, Sacramento (CSUS), where I obtained a master's degree in Counseling. During my career, I have worked with children, teens, young adults and parents. I have experience working with Traumas (i.e. Acute Trauma, Chronic Trauma, etc.) Anxiety, Brainspotting, Depression, PTSD, Family Conflict, Grief & Loss, Parent-Child Relationships, Stress Management, Self Esteem Issues.

My therapy approach is to meet clients where they are while experiencing their present struggle, offering support, guidance and understanding without judgment, ridicule or criticism. In therapy sessions, I use interventions to help with healing wounds and assessing unhealthy patterns of learned behaviors. I believe in a collective approach in the healing process when working with families, making sure everyone's experiences and voices are heard, as well as acknowledged.

My goal is to help with getting to the root cause of the core issues that each person is facing. I work with the client to develop an individual treatment plan that works best for them. One of my goals in treatment is to help each person share their story, walk their individual path and have a voice, without judgement.
