A bit about my approach to therapy
We all have our own inner strength to cope with the challenges of life. It often takes courage to allow others to listen to our concerns. I work with people to give a new perspective that often brings relief and joy to their life.
I incorporate mindfulness, grounding techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy with a psychodynamic perspective. You will learn to breathe deeply and put problems in a right-sized perspective, to find peace in your daily life.
What you can expect from our first session
I understand that everyone has their own pace for healing and growth. I will share honest reflections and allow the client to choose if they are ready to be aware and take action. I truly enjoy accompanying people on a path to a better way of being. Clients report feeling empowered and wiser after engaging in their sessions. If they continue to practice the tools outside of sessions they feel better faster and for longer periods. This is well worth the effort.
