Great to meet you!

My counseling approach is client-centered and I use strength-focused interventions to help support you in making the positive changes you want to make.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in supporting people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or life changes. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. I am also a licensed LPC supervisor (LPC-S) and a certified sleep coach.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the ability to make positive change. I look at counseling as a partnership where together we explore and build on the strengths you already have within you. I see my role is to provide place of support and encouragement while also providing easy to implement tools and skills to support your journey to improved health. I am solution focused and believe while challenges can be complicated, together we can find solutions.

What you can expect from our first session

I work primarily with adults and older teens and find it especially rewarding working with people overcoming challenges related to stress and anxiety. My approach is non-judgmental and accepts all walks of life, sexual orientations, ethnicities, and religious world views. While asking for help can be hard, I believe counseling is a great gift to yourself. .
