I believe that our views of ourselves/others are often negatively shaped by our environments, such as a toxic family member or pattern of failure/loss. I'd like to help you let go of negative beliefs and emotions you've held on to over the years, and make room for others that help you more effectively make movement toward your goals.
I uniquely specialize in concussion/TBI recovery, helping clients with new or old head injuries navigate the significant or subtle changes that occur post-injury. Athletes, Veterans, and victims of accidents are welcome! I also offer expertise on health behavior changes, such as improving sleep and beginning to integrate self-care into one's daily life.
My approach to therapy is balanced- the first half of my career was spent in clinical research, and I can integrate this expertise into our work to make sure we are up to date on the latest science and studies on mental health. I also work to ensure you feel the direction we are headed is by your design, and at the pace that works for you.
