Relational issues in couples and singles, Life Transitions, Addiction, ADHD, Biblical or Spiritual Based Counseling.
I believe that healing comes from discovering who we truly are and how we fit in the relationships and world around us.
Understanding our story and how it has shaped us allows an opportunity to discover and correct the painful cycles that keep us stuck, and to restore the peace, wholeness, and strength we were meant to enjoy.
I believe that to create a sense of wholeness we must engage our whole selves in the therapeutic process of healing, including passions, creativity, spirituality and other parts of ourselves.
My proudest accomplishments as therapist:
When a client shares about how they experienced a familiar situation or interaction differently than they ever had before. It's in those small, hope and excitement-filled moments that we get a glimpse of the life ahead.
What inspired me to become a therapist:
Seeing the chasm for so many people between the desire for powerful and lasting relationships and the ability to create and maintain them, I committed to discovering to become a better relational individual and help others do the same.
What my clients often hear me say:
“Assuming the worst in others has a much greater ability to make you enemies than it does to keep you safe.”
“Hope is the power to move forward when we feel we simply cannot.”
“To be known is to be experienced.”
“Acting out of anger will solve one problem while creating 20 more. Acting out of love will begin to heal problems while creating opportunities.”
“Lean into your strengths and manage your weaknesses.”
