Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) practicing since 2015. I believe my education paired with having overcome life-altering losses of my own have equipped me with the tools to help others do the same. Teaching, training, and counseling are my passion. I have provided therapy in hospitals, courts, and foster care settings. I have experience treating children and adults with diverse backgrounds and varying ranges of concerns.

I specialize in helping clients heal from grief, loss, and trauma so that they can live purposeful, joy-filled lives while honoring their past. Research shows that unhealthy relationships can cause both emotional and physical stress, whereas healthy relationships can enhance and improve overall well-being. I work to empower individuals to overcome personal obstacles to improve and fortify their relationships with themselves and others while utilizing evidence-based treatment methods.

Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling seen, heard, and understood. I can relate to many of my clients and their concerns because I have experienced what they are experiencing and know what it is like to need support. I believe it is important for my clients to know that as their therapist I respect and honor their journey. Lastly, my clients can expect to feel like they have an advocate who always has their best interest in mind with me as their therapist.
