Great to meet you!

Do you feel like you're drowning? Are you having more bad days than good? Everyone has stress from time to time but if you’re feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in anxiety I can help. We'll work together to process what's holding you back and put together tools to help you move forward. My clients are met by a calm, compassionate therapist who is straightforward and realistic. My goal is to empower you in a way that is useful and meaningful for you. You don’t have to suffer through this.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My style is to offer validation and empathy while using neuroscience to help you understand yourself, the issues, and how to move forward. I focus on the whole person not just 'problematic thoughts'. I am neurodiversity affirming and respect and honor all genders, orientations, faiths, and lived experiences. I work to cultivate a shame free environment.

What you can expect from our first session

I offer a free initial phone call to make sure we're a good fit. You can also visit my website BernardCounseling.com to learn more about what to expect. All of my sessions are done on a secure video platform and I offer online scheduling. If you’re ready to get the help you need call me at 941-313-7275.
