I'm Karen Cappello, a passionate advocate for strong, committed, and resilient adolescent females and women who are experiencing pain and want to move out of it to rediscover their voices and strengths. I specialize in helping females work through stress, anxiety, grief, impulsivity, and self-doubt find their voices, rediscover themselves, and help them reclaim their power and become the CEO of their life!

Because my training and background are eclectic, I am most at home drawing from my favorite evidence-based modalities. Most times, my clients are not aware whether we're doing "Motivational Interviewing" or "Narrative Therapy" because our sessions are a conversation. If we are discussing negative thought patterns, we may use CBT interventions. The emphasis is not on the type of intervention used, but on meeting my clients where they are.

My specialty is meshing the lessons learned from a life rich with experiences together with evidence-based interventions and ongoing clinical training. In our sessions, my clients gain valuable insights about themselves, learn coping strategies, and are empowered to take action. I provide safe, encouraging, and positive support towards your goals during and outside of sessions.
