Great to meet you!

Congratulations in taking the brave step of considering therapy. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I've worked with people from many diverse walks of life. I became a therapist a little later in life, my life experiences inform my practice and I understand we all do the best we can with what we have. I’m here to partner with you on this journey.

A bit about my approach to therapy

These mountains that you are carrying, you were only supposed to climb.

~ Najwa Zebian

At times, we may carry burdens or experiences from the past that interfere with our ability to enjoy the present or prevent our ability to move forward. To support clients in addressing challenges, I use empathetic listening and evidenced based treatment including cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion focused therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy skills and mindfulness.

What you can expect from our first session

This is your therapy session. I partner with clients on their journey toward their goals. You are provided a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore your thoughts. You are offered the opportunity to build tools and strategies to support you in setting down those mountains, becoming empowered, and building resiliency in order to enjoy the present and move forward in your life.
