Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Jordan King. I have my Masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of South Florida. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I have been working in this field for 7 years and have experience working with marriages, families, adults, adolescents, and children. I specifically work with kids, male adolescents, college age men, adult men, couples and families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am committed to working with clients to reach their goals, experience healing, and learn coping skills so that they can be the best versions of themselves. I believe that our thoughts will eventually determine our behaviors. I use cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, and family systems theory among other theories to help my clients succeed in their initial reasoning for wanting therapy. As your therapist we will work together and figure out what works best for you.

What you can expect from our first session

Being in this field for over 7 years has helped me see a wide range of clients. I personalize each session based on that client. I create a warm, understanding and a safe place to discuss this journey called life. You can expected to be heard, accepted and motivated to become a better you.
