My philosophy lays in the idea that through conversation and exploration we are able to become aware of patterns created through our life’s experiences which can currently affect us, develop healthy ways to navigate interactions, and have the opportunity to live a stable and healthy life. I understand it can be easier said than done. At the same time, I believe it is very well possible and you are deserving of it. Since 2013, I have worked with individuals of a variety of walks of life dealing with a spectrum of mental health challenges. We are complex beings and through our process, we can explore the self and those intricacies. Understand, there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. This is why I utilize a combination of practices to best drive our journey with a focus on psychodynamic and humanistic approaches. I believe exploring current situations paired with reflecting on past experiences can be a recipe to develop awareness which can drive the change process. Moreover, as a first generation immigrant, I can relate to the unique experiences this can bring to life’s challenges as well as to existing mental health conditions.
