Great to meet you!

Hi and welcome to my profile, I look forward to walking this journey with you! I am a seasoned Licensed Professional Counselor with practice in substance abuse, crisis intervention, trauma, relationships, grief and loss and all things in between. I have experience working with military and veteran populations and all ages. I'm very kind but not afraid to support you in doing hard work and a genuine person with a goofy side (it's best to just own it). I am also a military spouse.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I start with a person centered approach meaning, I will meet you where you are at! I naturally lean on positive psychology and always strive to seek balance in life. I love Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and mix in some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to support understanding of ones thoughts and ways to implement change in behavior. However, I choose to work as a team and together, we will take steps in the direction you are comfortable with. That is what matters most.

What you can expect from our first session

I often hear from my clients that they "have never told anyone that before". They also thank me for listening and allowing space for them to be themselves. My main goal is to provide clients the opportunity to authentically and genuinely be themselves. I see myself as an equal to my clients and create a space of warmth so as we make changes, we are creating a life that brings the highest happiness and balance. The holidays are here and I want clients to know I'm here to help and support them.
