She is most effective with patients that are motivated to take an active, engaged role in their mental wellness.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My treatment approach significantly prioritizes Positive Psychiatry. We will focus on different aspects of your situation to understand how you got here and how we can work together to lead you to a better mental space. Through inquiry and discussion we can get towards the root of issues and work towards solutions. Sometimes this means therapy or medications alone, or a combination. We will approach problems as a team and I’m optimistic and enthusiastic about engaging in your mental healthcare.

What you can expect from our first session

Homework! Not all the time of course, but for those who want to get the most of out their treatment with me, putting in the work is going to bring you the biggest return. That may look like medication compliance, keeping a sleep journal or working on habits. We will address all of you as a person from your physical health habits, self-care, emotional well-being and genetic predispositions, and then find ways to maximize your mental wellness.
