Jennifer is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. Jennifer received her Master’s in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and has since worked in a non-profit assisting adults and children with Developmental or Intellectual Disabilities. She has trained others and conducted many workshops on different therapeutic interventions, as well as worked to help adjust these interventions to the population or person at hand.
Jennifer believes in using different therapeutic approaches to meet a person where they are in their journey. She feels there are ways to personalize tools, interventions and methods to empower others to overcome feelings of depression and anxiety as well as deal with everyday issues that arise. Through an interactive, accepting and warm approach I hope to provide relief to others in many facets of their life. Putting yourself first and reaching out for help may be the first step towards making positive life changes.
