I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience working with women, children and families in the Rochester community. I have worked with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds dealing with a variety of issues including illness, trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal violence, family dynamics, attachment, and emotional challenges. I am passionate about offering support to caregivers as they transition into parenthood, establishing balance and emotional wellness within their new role. I have specialized training in Infant Mental Health and Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I draw from a number of different modalities to best support those I work with, including CBT-cognitive (thinking) behavioral (action) therapy, Trauma Focused CBT, narrative and attachment therapies. I always take a flexible client-centered and strengths based approach, striving to establish a warm, non-judgmental and safe space to explore any challenges and potential solutions.
