Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arizona with over 21 years of clinical experience. My work experience ranges from psychiatric inpatient work to outpatient behavioral health work with adults, children, and families. I am also a Certified Mindfulness and Meditation teacher.

I work with clients with presenting concerns; such as depression, anxiety, low self esteem, life transitions, stress ,overwhelm, women's issues , compassion fatigue, burnout, and chronic medical issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a person centered approach and value the importance of a good therapeutic relationship. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Mindfulness Practices as part of my interventions.

My counseling philosophy is one that explores belief systems and how these impact emotions and behaviors . My expertise allows clients to develop their own perspective of problem solving and empowers them.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expected to feel heard and seen in a safe space that is free from judgement. They will learn coping skills for lifes challenges and feel empowered to move forward with a good understanding of themselves and what they need. Homework is to be expected.
