What could you navigate in a safe space? I will use a warm, compassionate approach as we explore what you might be seeking. Perhaps you long for fulfillment or a clarified sense of purpose. Maybe you feel stuck in patterns that don’t serve you. Perhaps you’re sad or anxious, grappling with a relationship, or coping with loss. Regardless of what brings you here, I believe that sorting out your thoughts and feelings together can yield a more enjoyable life. Our work will focus on what brings you purpose and meaning.
My background is concentrated in medicine and mental health, with particular attention to the mind-body connection. I’m well-versed in the psychology of chronic pain, and in the impact of medical conditions on interpersonal functioning. I will carefully tailor my approach as we lighten your burdens, creating a life worth living.
I have additional interests in anxiety, depression, grief, fertility and parenting, life transitions and LGBTQIA+ identity. I earned an MSW from Tulane University in 2003, and a certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy from NYC’s William Alanson White Institute. I look forward to hearing from you and beginning our work together.
