Great to meet you!

As a licensed clinical social worker in the hospice field, my background is in grief support and working with families that have experienced loss. Additionally, I have spent time as a therapist in inpatient mental health settings, working with dual diagnosis patients. My framework also includes a history working with IDD clients, helping them to live a more inclusive life within their community. I am an LGBTQ affirming therapist and consider myself as an ally for this population.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I prefer to take a collaborative approach with my patients. My role will involve providing you with an empathetic ear and unbiased feedback. We will work on identifying your strengths and developing your goals. I believe that therapy works best when there is a willingness to seek change. How you go about seeking that change, will be something that we explore and work on together.

What you can expect from our first session

A safe, non-judgmental environment is the foundation of my work with patients. Developing a strong rapport will be something that we endeavor to do from the start. Effective therapy, like any healthy relationship, starts with building trust. Let's see what we can accomplish together!
