I have over 19 years of experience working in schools as a teacher and now counselor, and specialize in helping teens and young adults as well as parents navigate through crisis, trauma, grief, mental disorders, anxiety, depression, family conflict, parenting issues, stress, peer relationships, and self esteem issues. Teachers & parents appreciate having a mental health professional who has walked in their shoes and can empathize with their experiences.

Bella Vida means "beautiful life" and is founded on the principle that although life can be difficult at times, we can find our way to building a beautiful life.

I use an eclectic approach to psychotherapy by tailoring individual plans for clients based on their needs. Integrative methods include cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy.

I help my clients reflect on past, present, & future relationships in order to further understand themselves. I believe that when an individual understands themselves, they are better able to cope with life's stressors & align their values with action. My mission is to empower clients to become the best version of themselves and take the steps necessary for change. My approach is to meet clients where they are & help them grow.
