Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Social Worker licensed to practice in New York. I have been practicing since 2000 at a county mental health clinic until my transition to private practice in 2015. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have experience that includes work with children to geriatric populations. I have helped clients dealing with a variety of issues such as: depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, bullying, relationship issues, health issues, trauma, and beginning to process end of life discussions.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am direct, meeting my client where they are, and providing guidance toward managing the area that they are struggling with at the moment. I love what I do and while I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness techniques in session; I meet clients needs with the approach that best helps support, challenge, and instill hope for them.

What you can expect from our first session

I hope that each session my client is able to see things about themselves or their life differently. Learning ways to manage life's challenges in ways that are helpful each session.

Our first session will be an intake to sort out areas of distress, triggers and identifying skills and supports. I am open-minded in my work with you towards achieving your goals, supporting you throughout treatment at your pace.
