Headway

Heather

As a trained psychotherapist, I understand how anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, addiction, and major transitions can lead us to feel disconnected from ourselves and others. I will work with you with compassion, guiding you to effectively make changes and discover and create new habits that better serve you in creating the life that you want. My goal is to support you during these life changes and assist you with developing the skills to be successful in your journey. I have a passion for working with children and adolescents, and aim to help young people navigate through difficult experiences associated with growing up.

My goal as a therapist is to guide you in reconnecting with your deeper self and addressing your needs through the use of strength based therapy, art therapy, mindfulness techniques, motivational interviewing, and CBT. I also have experience working in the field of adolescent drug use and assist young people in developing the skills to avoid risky behavior.

Whether you, or your child, is struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, poor self-esteem, or relationship issues, I will work with you to ensure you develop the coping skills and strategies to achieve the life you desire. Our darkest moments can lead to the most powerful transformations. I hope to hear from you soon to support you on your journey.
