I work with adults and young adults who are seeking support related to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, women's issues, life transitions, communication issues, career development, grief and loss, trauma, and relationship difficulties. I am committed to supporting individuals in the LGBTQ+ community, students in higher education, and people who are working on personal growth or enhanced self-awareness.
My goal is to create an empathic, collaborative, and reflective space where clients can feel comfortable exploring their concerns and goals. I am invested in being fully present in the moment with clients to unpack and explore the topics that they bring to counseling, recognizing each client's individuality and intersecting identities.
My approach to counseling is eclectic, incorporating various therapeutic techniques depending on what is most beneficial to the client. I typically place an emphasis on humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based approaches. Utilizing a trauma-informed approach, I support clients in gaining a deeper understanding of their life experiences, building a sense of personal empowerment, recognizing their own resiliency and strengths, and identifying ways to create sustainable positive changes in their daily lives.
