Coping with life's challenges can be difficult and very stressful for many individuals, but it need not be this way and I believe I can help. I am very comfortable working with individuals who are depressed; anxious; obsessive-compulsive; ADHD; using/abusing alcohol and other drugs; suffering with PTSD; and who have relationship problems and issues with self-esteem. What is significant about my practice is my sensitivity to culture and diversity. I also enjoy working with adolescents and young adults helping them to transition into adulthood.

My understanding of the mind and human behavior is grounded in Psychoanalytic thought and my approach to treatment is dynamic and eclectic. I incorporate a variety of interventions as needed. I am invested in helping patients have a new corrective emotional experience by providing a safe space and being present and available.

I wish to thank you for taking the time to review my profile. The decision to get help is not always easy but it shows some compassion for self. I welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss your concerns and to see if we can be a good fit.
