I am is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Adult Nurse Practitioner, board-certified and licensed by the state New York to provide family-centered, high quality, equitable and culturally-responsive healthcare to patients across the lifespan. My scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems. Additionally, I focus on providing holistic care for clients, which bridges the common gaps between physical and mental health care, beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
I completed my BSN Degree at The College of New Rochelle and my Masters in Nursing Education as an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Post-Masters in Psychiatry as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Hunter College, NY. At this time, I provide mental health services in one of the most challenging environments of her career: In addition to seeing patients in private practice, I also work as a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Riker’s Island correctional facility, which houses the largest number of mentally-ill patients in any single institution in New York State.
