This is because your body still needs to process that stress and whatever emotions may have come up. That's where I come in. As a body psychotherapist, I can teach you how to be more aware of how your whole system- your mind and your body- is impacted by what you go through and how to effectively help your entire being grow and heal in order to create desired change.

I use a body-based, compassionate, and integrative approach to help pre-teens, teens, and adults learn various skills, such as mindfulness, self-awareness, distress tolerance, resource building, and managing thought patterns, to empower them to create the life they want. I used effective, evidenced-based interventions, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and CBT.
