You feel alone and-sometimes-hopeless. It's been a long time since you've experienced real joy or felt energized. You're struggling with a past or a recent trauma that you can't put out of your mind. You spiral into negative thoughts and haven't yet learned ways to break this pattern. I am a very compassionate listener and I provide a safe space where you can explore whatever is bothering you. You want to understand the root of your problems, but more than that, you want to feel better.
As a former lawyer, my approach is analytical, with curiosity about the interlapping perspectives of every issue. This works well with my training in EMDR and psychodynamic therapy. I also practice Iyengar yoga and meditation.
Whatever you're feeling, rest assured, there is hope. There is more to life than struggling with anxiety, depression, and other distressing emotions.
