Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Dr. Donetta Quinones, I studied Forensic Psychology at Argosy University, earned a Master of Science degree in General Psychology at Walden University and became certified as a Human Behavior Consultant from the Christian Coach Institute. I studied Clinical Psychology and graduated from Walden University with my doctoral degree. I worked within the law enforcement and correctional setting has provided me with the opportunity to support members of the forensic population.

A bit about my approach to therapy

During the therapeutic process, I challenge clients with the statement that I am "Daring You to Be YOU!" Denial, regret, condemnation, and all other forms of negative emotions are roadblocks that hinder clients from successfully reaching personal development. This challenge of personal acceptance is designed to help individuals to evaluate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to support the process of developing the intimacy needed to promote strength in facing life's challenges.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to develop the self-awareness needed to identify their roadblocks as the participate in the therapeutic process. The ideal client wants therapeutic support in acknowledging personal triggers, defining happiness, developing healthy relationships, and identifying areas for personal development.Through provision of guidance, support, and tools, therapy can set clients on the path towards success.
