Denise Dixon, PhD is a licensed clinical health psychologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in behavioral (mental) health services for children, adolescents and adults whom reside in New York State.

In addition to being a prominent behavioral health specialist, Dr. Dixon has presented at National and International conferences, on the topics of post-traumatic stress disorder; maternal depression; child obesity; neuroimmunology; and stress and coping.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With over twenty years experience as a licensed clinical health psychologist, and as a graduate of Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, she relies upon evidenced-based treatments for insomnia (CBT-i); coping with chronic illness / life-altering injury; parenting; stress management; depression (including post-partum depression); and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
