Anxiety, Depression, and OCD

Great to meet you!

I began my therapeutic career in New York City, working at a methadone clinic in Harlem. I was immediately drawn to uncovering the underlying anxiety and depression in the life of a drug addict. I was able to help open up the deep wounds and help the addicts heal from their haunted pasts. At that point, I knew that my strategies were both effective and that they provided hope for a new beginning. I quickly applied my techniques to many other settings, including private practice.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I graduated from Columbia University with a masters in social work and went on to graduated from the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute. I received specialized training in OCD, anxiety disorders, and depression from the OCD Resource Center of Florida. I have over 15 years of experience treating OCD, generalized anxiety, social phobia, specific phobias, panic disorders, PTSD, trichotillomania, body dysmorphia, and depression. I proudly implement evidence-based practices, including CBT and ERP.

What you can expect from our first session

My core values include integrity, respect, compassion, responsibility, kindness, truth and justice. One core value that stands out and is of utmost importance is to treat others as you might treat yourself. This reflects in my strong ability to be culturally sensitive to others. I aim to create a safe space to speak about your values and how you would like to implement them into your day-to-day life and current relationships.

I am currently accepting new patients.
