I have been providing psychotherapy to individuals and families for over 15 years. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, family conflict, anger management, low self-esteem, women's issues, and teaching others how to bring relaxation and coping skills into their lives. Much of my experience has been working with adolescents and their families as well as with individuals/adults. I also offer wellness counseling/coaching to those who are looking to improve their health and nutrition as I also have a Master of Science degree in Health and Nutrition Education. My certification as a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider enables me to utilize nutrition and natural therapies to assist my clients in achieving improved mental health.

I employ a variety of therapeutic techniques to help clients manage everyday stress and work on resolving past emotional hurts. These techniques are based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and more recently, a holistic approach to wellness. I am very passionate about educating my clients about stress management skills and mindfulness.

I believe we cannot flourish and grow beyond our struggles unless we address our body, mind, and spirit. I offer a unique approach as I have an avid interest in health and wellness and how this contributes to emotional health. I am passionate about teaching how nutrition impacts emotional health.
