I am a board certified psychiatrist and a psychotherapist, and In recent years, my practice has evolved to focus on the issues of females throughout the life cycle. I treat females ages 16-70, and male adolescents with anorexia nervosa. Everyone's story is unique, and every person deserves an individualized approach to their problems. Initially, I will provide you with a comprehensive medical/psychological evaluation. If we choose to work together after your evaluation, we will be partners in your therapeutic journey. If you have been suffering alone, or your past treatment has not been fully satisfactory, then give me a call.

Psychotherapy alone, or when combined with medications, is a proven path to emotional well being. Honest dialogue and commitment are essential to successful treatment. You have to be ready to get better! The work is hard but can lead to significant, long-lasting changes. The treatment I provide is best suited to verbal, highly motivated persons.

The therapeutic relationship we develop is the cornerstone of your wellness journey. You must feel safe and respected in order to share. I strive to provide a setting that allows you to do this. I am open to your input and welcome your feedback as we progress on the path to your renewed happiness. For your benefit, a balanced eclectic approach is utilized.
