Over the past fifteen years as a therapist, one frequent obstacle I have come across is the commute people make for sessions. Having to take an extra hour (or more) of the day to commute, having to find child care, pick up kids from school, or find transportation in the first place often becomes a reason people don’t pursue therapy. Prior to Covid-19 I began working with telehealth and moved towards seeing everyone from their own home to remove this barrier. As we went through (and continue going through) the stress of COVID-19 many therapists have began using telehealth. I focus directly on telehealth, using HIPAA compliant video platforms for the same therapy from the comfort of your own home.

My experience includes addressing trauma/PTSD, substance use/abuse and recovery, anxiety, depression, transgender and gender dysphoria, and LGBTQ+ issues for adolescents and adults as an ally. You can easily request and schedule our first appointment or phone consultation by reaching out today.
