Yet suffering with no resolve can cause great stress, anxiety, depression and problems in our lives. I believe therapy is a powerful tool that can evoke change, decrease stress and increase self confidence. I can help by first understanding your situation and how it's affecting you. From there we can identify the goals you want to achieve and the steps to get there. You deserve to be happy.
I've had training in and practice with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Narrative Therapy. I apply themes of mindfulness in all of my sessions. Each person is unique so I feel it's important that we collaborate. Together we will cultivate the most effective approach to meet your needs.
I'm a very empathetic and compassionate clinician. I've worked with various populations including those struggling with substance abuse/dependence, depression/anxiety, relationship issues as well as serious medical conditions. I also work with artists who feel stuck, uninspired or "blocked". I offer home visits for people who can't travel.
